[ Wigan Dance Festival – Dancer Entry Fee ]

• Thursday Purple (Set 1)

• Saturday Dance Technique Development (Lyrical Jazz)

This opportunity is suited to dancers aged 8 years and over. Unfortunately, Yellow Set Dance students are unable to take part in this event.

Performances:
We are delighted to have been allocated two performance slots at the festival. To allow as many dancers as possible to take part, we will be presenting:

• (Thursday Dancers) a Street Dance & Hip-Hop routine, performed as a joint piece by Red Set, Purple Set 1 and Purple Set 2
• (Saturday Dancers) a Lyrical Jazz routine

On The Day:
From 10:00am, dancers will be welcomed into the venue for an inspiring day including:

• Three dance workshops
• A full dress rehearsal on stage, giving dancers the chance to build confidence, experience the stage, and soak up the festival atmosphere.
• The day will culminate in an evening performance at 5:30pm, celebrating young talent in a vibrant and professional setting.

Dancer Entry Fee:
The cost to take part in this opportunity is:

• £25.00 for dancers performing one dance and participating in three workshops.
• £30.00 for dancers performing two dances and participating in three workshops.

If your child attends both a Thursday and a Saturday dance class, they will be performing two dances.

OTE Staff Attendance:
This event will be attended by Miss Emma, Miss Charlie and Miss Leah. To cover additional staffing costs for the day of the event, an additional £8.00 fee will be added per student. This will be invoiced separately.

Additional Rehearsals

• Between now and the festival Purple Set 1 and Purple Set 2 will have a combined class (6.30pm-8.30pm) – there is no additional charge for this.
• Between now and the festival Red Set will have an extended lesson 5.30pm to 7pm – there is no additional charge for this.
• If your child also attends singing classes, they are not required to attend the Thursday extended sessions, as upcoming singing examinations take priority.
• We plan to hold an additional rehearsal during the February Half Term holidays, dependent on student availability.
